Global Multiconcept Business School in conjunction with American Institute of Commonwealth & Africa University, have concluded plans to confer Honorary Doctor of Excellence Award to some distinguished Nigerians
The award event which comes up on the 22 ,March, 2024, will take place at Hommaston Learning Center, 9 Adebola Street, Surulere Lagos.
President/ Director General of GMBS,Dr Albert Ndeze told Premium News Daily ( PND), that the award ,” Is a professional recognition that provides an independent quality assurance reference for highly qualified professionals from all fields, accomplished and successful business people and for those who strive for personal excellence, and who become a motivating example in the society and their communities and professional spectrum”
An honorary award is a gesture of respect given to a successful and accomplished professional in his or her chosen human endeavor to recognize his or her performance and value to an organization, society and humanity. Honorary awards are generally symbolic. Dr Ndeze said,”GMBS adopted the Honorary Doctor of Excellence as part of our overall incentive awards programs, a traditional form of high-level, formal “honor awards.” “The emphasis is providing formal, highly symbolic recognition of significant contributions and publicly recognizing business, society, humanity and community development heroes as examples for others to follow.
“Our award system typically involve formal nominations, are granted in limited numbers, and are approved and presented by senior governing council members in formal ceremonies”
Dr Ndeze stressed that “In many countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, Honorary awards represent significant recognition of meaningful development contributions to society, community and humanity by the recipients. GMBS Honorary Doctor of Excellence award is modeled after these developed countries to give honor to whom honor is due”.
