The Founder and General Overseer of Christ In Me International Church ,Obadore ,Alimosho local government,Lagos has declared that the current economic hardship and sufferings being experienced by the citizenry in Nigeria is a consequence of religious and family failure.
Prophet Micheal Ogologondu, fondly called ” PROVOVO”, by his followers because of his accurate prophetic utterances ,stated this on Sunday,3,November,2023, at the annual special thanksgiving service , of the church.
The Aguleri,Anambra born clergy noted that the leaders of this country are products of family, and they are either christians or moslems.
He said if the religious leaders, families, and also teachers in both tertiary and secondary institutions play their roles very well by inculcating the fear of God in the leaders ,the nation would not find itself in its present parlous state.
His words,”We are not doing the right thing and that is why things are very difficult in Nigeria. The problems are coming from the hands of priests, pastors and prophets, not from the government. We should leave government alone and tackle our teachers because teachers are the eyes of God, not only men of God. The ones in schools, churches and mosques. They are the source of problems Nigerians are facing. Politicians worship in churches and mosques. If Imams, Bishops and priests call them to order, they will be in order. Our problems can never stop if we don’t realize that God is the author and finisher of everything in our lives. Nigerians focus on money and bribery and that is the reason the country is lacking a lot of things. What is happening now is designed so that we can learn. Until we finish learning, this problem will never finish. Our learning process will start with pastors, teachers, priests and Imams before extending to the throne”.

” I can speak Igbo. Who taught me that? My parents. If I am born in America, I’ll speak English not Igbo. Whatever you see in children, the hands of mothers and fathers are there. Talking about upbringing, many families have failed! Some of them encourage their children to do 419 and bring money for them. When your son brings something you don’t know where it is from and you cook and eat, your are encouraging evil. If a child starts at eight years to give you food, he will have power over you to do what he wants to do. A father will close mouth because he doesn’t want war; a mother will close mouth because she doesn’t want war.

“This issue of smoking Indian Hemp and doing all manner of evil is the reason I talked about teachers from the beginning. Mother is teacher; father is teacher. Why you take your children to school is for them to know how to read and write. Other things belong to father and mother. So, we need to work; we need to encourage fathers and mothers to bring children back to their senses. That is what is necessary in these end-times. Government should work hard on this. If you say we’re not going to do that, things will get tougher and tougher.
Prophet Ogologondu, reputed for his accurate prophesy noted that ,’Five years ago, I prophesied concerning what is happening now. I even prophesied concerning it earlier this year. When Buhari was about becoming President, I told people that Jonathan would not win, that Buhari would carry the day. I told people that if Buhari wins, things would be very tough in this country. I told them that bread which was then N250 a loaf would sell at N1000. I told the world that a litre of fuel would sell at N500. I said it openly in the Church. When Buhari finished his tenure, I told people that Tinubu, not Peter Obi, would succeed him. My prediction came to pass and today, Tinubu is there now.

” In the entire thing, I went to pray and God said he wanted to teach Nigerians a lesson. The people God wanted to teach the lesson are Christians to enable them learn what they need to do. According to Proverbs Chapter 23, verses 15-16, God said “I love seeing my children saying the right thing at the right time; doing the right thing at the right time.”

Asked why the choice of the theme ” Harvest of Mercy and Love”,the charismatic and amiable prophet said,’The choice of the theme is by divine direction. We are alive by the mercy of God and his abundant love for us.
” The Harvest and Thanksgiving is special to us because God has done a lot of work in our lives. For ten years in this ministry, we have never lost any soul. We have never buried any member. It is because of this and other favours that we are giving great thanks to God. We have continued to grow in strength and number.
In this ministry, God heals the sick, makes the cripple to walk and the blind to see. What we owe God is just to say “Thank You”. If I don’t say it with my people, I can never be satisfied. That is what we are doing today. We’re very happy!”

Behind every successful man there is a woman.Prophet Ogologondu enjoys the support of his adorable wife, who also is a pastor in the church.Fondly called “Classic Mama’, by the congregants, soft spoken Pastor Mrs Uju Ogologondu, when asked the challenges she faces as the wife of the General Overseer ( GO),and as the mother of the church said,”The challenges are enormous, but by the special grace of God we are coping with the challenges”.
Prophet Micheal Ogologondu, informed that the church is fast growing and therefore working to acquire a bigger space to accommodate its numerous members.
“We are on it! For now, we have a very big place in Ago where we do programmes. We are trying to get a permanent site. We have 3 plots of land for a start already because we have a future. What we need are acres because of our future. We are heading somewhere.

” I believe that whenever you raise men, men will raise money. Your character determines your favour. If you’re a prophet and you don’t have good character, God will not send people to you for help. There’s nohow God will come from heaven and give you money. It must come through men.” he said.
