NPCC Congratulates Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho On His Appointment As Managing Director,Nigerian Ports Authority

The Nigeria Port Consultative Council (NPCC) extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho on his appointment as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). President Bola Tinubu’s decision to entrust Dr. Dantsoho with this pivotal role reflects his unwavering commitment to enhancing efficiency and excellence in our nation’s maritime sector.
The NPCC,in a statement on Friday ,19 July,2024,which was made available to Premium News Daily(PND),noted Dr. Dantsoho brings a wealth of experience to his new position. With a Doctorate degree in Maritime Technology from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom, and a Master’s degree in International Transport from Cardiff University of Wales, United Kingdom, he is well-equipped to lead the NPA into a new era of growth and innovation. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Dantsoho served in various capacities within the NPA, including Assistant General Manager, Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, Port Manager at Onne Port, and Principal Manager for Tariff & Billing.

The NPCC also congratulates Senator Adedayo Adeyeye on his appointment as Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority. A seasoned lawyer, journalist, politician, and former Minister of State for Works, Senator Adeyeye’s leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the agency’s continued success.

As the NPCC, we look forward to working closely with Dr. Dantsoho, Senator Adeyeye, and the entire NPA leadership team. We expect them to prioritize efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring that our ports remain competitive on the global stage.
