MWUN President-General Hosts Greenview Management in Courtesy Visi

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), under the leadership of its President-General, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, on Wednesday welcomed the management team of Greenview Development Nigeria Limited to its national secretariat in Olodi Apapa, Lagos.

Led by General Manager Mr. Yakubu Abdullahi, the Greenview delegation paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Bunu to express solidarity and congratulate him on his recent election victory.

During the visit, Mr. Abdullahi commended the MWUN President-General for his labour-friendly policies and commitment to workers’ welfare, noting that these qualities were instrumental in his electoral success. He assured the Union of Greenview’s continuous support and collaboration under Bunu’s leadership.

In his remarks, Comrade Bunu, a seasoned maritime expert and administrator, thanked the Greenview management for the visit and pledged to sustain the existing cordial relationship between the Union and the company. He emphasized the Union’s readiness to work hand-in-hand with Greenview in safeguarding the interests and welfare of workers, which he described as the Union’s top priority.

He also lauded Greenview’s “Workers’ Inclusiveness” policy and encouraged the management to maintain a consistent focus on employee wellbeing.

The visit marks a reinforcement of the strong partnership between MWUN and Greenview, particularly in promoting industrial harmony and workers’ rights within Nigeria’s maritime sector.
