The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria ( MWUN) ,under the leadership of Prince ( Dr.) Adewale Adeyanju,fnil,and the entire executive of the Union has expressed an unreserved commendation for the exceptional performance of the Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, Dr.Bashir Jamoh, for his efforts at fast tracking the blue economy program,sustenance and issuance of bio- metric identify card,cadet training,both locally and internationally.
The Union also praised the NIMASA DG for imparting Nigerians positively through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)framework.

The commendation letter signed by the President General of the United Prince Adeyanju,the Union stated that the NIMASA Boss has continued to ,”Amaze us with your talent and dedication to work, people and ideas, because of which maritime administration and safety has been elevated to global standards. Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria remains impressed by the extra energy you put into forging commendable pathways and moulding fountains of hope from which we all can drink and grow
“Indeed, we acknowledge your personal milestones and are honoured to partner with NIMASA
in the goal of growing the Nigeria maritime sub sector to greater heights.”
Continuing , Adeyanju said,
” Our assessment, marks you out as protector of the oppressed, a messenger of truth and a carrier of faith, hope and wisdom. You motivate us as a Union and because of this, we are better and more prepared to get even better. We recognize your commitment to enthroning the tenets of blue economy, staying true to issuance of our biometric identity card, cadet training both internationally and locally and advancing your corporate social responsibility projects to impact positively on Nigerians which to say the least, is most laudable. Indeed you have raised the level of performance beyond expectations. Consistently, your sterling management style has resulted in improved welfare package for staff/workers ,even without agitation from the Union. This good gesture is a testifier to the goodness of your person and therefore the joy you have put into the lives of your friends.co– workers and ports users .
Adeyanju added, “Your professionalism and general candour is a clear pointer to your efficiency and regard for standards and procedure. It is my privilege therefore to reiterate the renewed commitment of MWUN to continue to collaborate with you in our desire to see to the sustenance of an enduring legacy of refined maritime administration, sustained peace and visionary enlightenment.
