The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria ( MWUN ) under the leadership of President – General, Comrade ( Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju ( fnli, HFCPSP), has charged Muslims all over the World to emulate the noble virtues of Prophet Muhammed (Peace be unto him), which are love forgiveness and charity as the they Celebrate Eid- El- Kabir.

In a release on Wednesday, signed by the Head of Media of the Union ,Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna ,and sighted by Premium News Daily (PND ), Adeyanju admonished Muslims to allow their lives and actions reflect the life of prophet Muhammad (peace be unto him), as they Celebrate.
His words,”In celebrating the Eid, Muslims in Nigeria and across all nations of the world must emulate the lifestyle of Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be Unto Him ) who preached and practiced love, charity and forgiveness amongst all men of good will with total adherence to tolerance while serving Allah and mankind on planet earth”.

Adeyanju urged Muslims to be very faithful to Allah in service and to humanity across board irrespective of tribe, religion, colour or creed as this tenet was what made prophet Ibrahim the Father of Faith in Islam when he obeyed Allah to sacrifice his son Ismail for the Almighty in absolute obedience.

The number one Maritime leader and Deputy President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) urged Muslims to be very tolerant in all they do putting into cognisance the four tenets of Islam and reflecting on the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, which is the symbol and significance of the Eid-El-Kabir Muslims all over the world celebrate.

“The Eid as it were gives us ( Muslims) hope in Islam, which is the more reason we should not deviate from the principles and practice of Islam in Nigeria nay the world. Once more, we in the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria do felicitate with every Muslim faithful in the country. Happy Eid-El-Kabir” The MWUN boss concluded.
