Royal Celebration: NAGAFF Celebrates 70th Birthday Of Chief Chidiebere Enelamah In Style

Under the radiant sun of a cheerful Lagos afternoon, the vibrant spirit of Apapa came alive on May 16th, 2025, as the heartbeat of Nigeria’s freight forwarding industry—NAGAfF—gathered to celebrate the 70th birthday of their revered BoT Chairman, Chief Chidiebere Enelamah.
The venue, NAGAfF Village at 2 Maybin Street, was transformed into a colorful tapestry of tradition, music, and unity.

From early morning, the scent of fresh palm wine, spicy jollof rice, and roasted goat meat filled the air as local chefs and caterers prepared a feast fit for a king. Banners bearing the Chief’s smiling image fluttered in the breeze, and a red carpet stretched from the gate to the decorated marquee, welcoming guests with grandeur.

The occasion was nothing short of a royal festival. NAGAfF bigwigs, industry stakeholders, and esteemed members of the association arrived in style—many clad in majestic robes—bearing gifts, goodwill, and warm wishes for the celebrant. The mood was electric, laced with admiration for a man who has led with wisdom, tenacity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence in logistics and freight forwarding.

But it was the entrance of the NAGAfF Ogene Cultural Band that truly ignited the soul of the celebration. With talking drums, flutes, and the unmistakable ogene gongs, the band sent pulses racing as they performed spirited renditions of Igbo folk songs. Dancers moved like waves in perfect rhythm, their bodies telling stories of heritage, strength, and joy. When the band struck up a special tune composed in honor of Chief Enelamah, the crowd erupted in ululations, claps, and stomps.

A gift for the celebrant
Chief Enelamah himself, adorned in regal robes ,full of confidence and self fulfilled smile,and surrounded by happy lovely family emerged to thunderous applause. Flanked by elders and executives, he took his place on the high table like a lion returning to his pride.
In a brief opening remarks, president of NAGAFF,High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi,extolled the exemplary character of Chief Enelamah as he urged everyone present to emulate the impressive character of the man, Chidiebere Enelamah.

Chief Ezisi thanked all who foud time to come to honour the NAGAFF BoT chairman,on his special day.
Founder of NAGAFF and the New Nigerian People’ s Party NNPP,Dr.Bonoface Okechukwu Aniebonam,who gave a long history of NAGAFF ,and how the foremost Association was formed noted the huge role Chief Enelamah played during the formative years of the association.He thanked him for his loyalty and commitment to the cause of NAGAfF over the years,and wished him many mor years of fruitful life.
In his speech, Chief Enelamah expressed deep gratitude for the love shown, reminding all present of the strength found in unity and tradition. “Today is not just about me,” he said, “but about every hand and heart that keeps this association strong. Together, we move mountains.”

The event continued into the evening with laughter, toasts, and tales of the Chief’s legendary leadership.
As the stars emerged over Apapa, the last notes of the ogene echoed through NAGAfF Village—a musical blessing for a man whose life and legacy continue to shape the future of Nigerian trade. It was more than a birthday—it was a celebration of legacy, leadership, and the enduring heartbeat of NAGAfF.
