The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) extends hearty congratulations to Dr. Abubakir Dantsoho on his recent appointment as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). Dr.

Dantsoho’s journey through various strategic departments within the Authority underscores his merit-based selection.

Dr. Adeyanju, speaking through the Media Head of the Union,,Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna,in a press statement on Tuesday, 16 July,2024, lauded Dantsoho’s dedication, commitment, and discipline.

His track record includes serving as Assistant General Manager (Servicom), Principal Manager (Tariff & Billing), and Port Manager at One Port. Additionally, his tenure as Chief of Staff to former Minister of Transportation, Alhaji Mua’zu Sambo, positions him well for this significant role.

MWUN pledges unwavering support to Dr. Dantsoho as he takes the helm at NPA, the country’s premier maritime parastatal. We wish him fair winds and smooth sailing as he steers the Authority through the dynamic waters of the Maritime Sector.
