Embrace Future With Focus , Determination , Adeyanju Admonishes Workers On Workers Day Celebration

The President – General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN),and the Deputy President, Nigerian Labourer Congress (NLC),Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, fnli, has asked Nigeria Workers and indeed all workers globally to look forward to the future with determination and focus.
Adeyanju stated this in a press statement on Wednesday ,May 1 ,2024, and signed by the media head of the union,comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna.
The Labour leader,while celebrating Nigerian workers,and workers globally ,praised them for their steadfastness, resilience and commitment towards building a great nation.
He said despite the myriads of challenges confronting the nation,the Nigerian workers have continually strived to be one of the best amongst the comity of nations,adding that the Nigerian Workers are still forging ahead, believing that Labour is the dignity of man.

Adeyanju said,”Today as we gather for this auspicious occasion of the May Day, I the President -General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria and Deputy President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), I want us to reflect on the journey of labour so far, the struggles endured and victories achieved. Let us remind the world that the strength of a nation lies not in her wealth or power but in the well-being and prosperity of her workers.

“Let us march forward with purpose and determination, as I also want to extend my greetings to Maritime Workers, the management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Shippers Council, NIWA, STOAN, NASO, and Shipping Employers for making the maritime sector in Nigeria a safe haven for business transactions.”
