High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has poured encomiums on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, as the former Rivers State governor marks his 62nd birthday.

In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the leadership and staff of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Tompolo described Wike as a courageous and visionary leader whose public service career has been defined by conviction, resilience and an unwavering commitment to national development.

He said Wike’s journey through public office — from his early years in public administration to his tenure as Governor of Rivers State and now as FCT Minister — reflects a rare blend of legal acumen, political audacity and decisive leadership anchored on results rather than rhetoric.

According to Tompolo, Wike’s impact in the nation’s capital is already evident, noting that the renewed emphasis on infrastructure development, orderliness and accountability under his watch underscores a hands-on leadership style befitting Abuja’s symbolic and strategic importance to Nigeria.

“In the Federal Capital Territory, your presence is already being massively felt. The renewed focus on infrastructure, order and accountability speaks volumes of a leader who understands both the symbolic and practical importance of Abuja to Nigeria’s unity and governance,” he stated.

The TSSNL founder further commended the minister for recognising the inseparable link between security, development and national stability, stressing that Wike’s insistence on law, order and institutional discipline aligns with Tantita’s mission of safeguarding critical national assets and promoting a secure environment for sustainable growth.

Tompolo also described Wike’s reputation as “Mr. Project” as well-deserved, citing his consistent record of performance and courage to take tough decisions in the discharge of public duty.

“In moments that demand firmness, you have chosen responsibility over convenience, standing by your convictions even when the path was difficult,” he said.

As the FCT minister marks another year, Tompolo prayed for renewed strength, wisdom and greater success, expressing confidence that Wike’s continued service would leave an enduring legacy on national development.

“May the years ahead bring good health, fulfilment and further contributions to the progress and unity of Nigeria,” he added.
