The President-General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, has applauded two Mobile Police Force (PMF) officers attached to the union’s national headquarters in Lagos for their professionalism and dedication, following their recent promotions.
The officers — Marcus Peter and Segun Oladunjoye — were formerly Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP I, Unconfirmed) and have now been elevated to the rank of Confirmed ASP II.
Comrade Abi described the duo as exemplary law enforcement personnel whose conduct, efficiency, and commitment to duty have consistently upheld the standards of the Nigeria Police Force. He noted that since their deployment from the PMF squadron to the union, they have demonstrated unwavering discipline and have excelled in protecting lives and property, in line with their constitutional responsibilities.
According to the MWUN President-General, the officers’ impeccable appearance and professional comportment while on duty have further distinguished them as model police officers.
He urged them to sustain their commendable performance and continue projecting the image of the Police Force positively.
The statement was electronically signed by Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, MWUN Head of Media.
