SIFAX Group Wins CSR Excellence Award For Transformative Community Impact

Sifax Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate, has been awarded the prestigious “CSR Impact & Excellence Award” by Media Consortium in recognition of its outstanding contributions to community development through impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
The award was presented at a ceremony held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, and highlighted SIFAX Group’s role in driving sustainable social change across Nigeria. Themed “Outstanding CSR Initiative in Community Development,” the event honoured organizations demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to societal betterment.
SIFAX Group was commended for its consistency, transparency, and the scale of its outreach programs. Among its most notable initiatives are the annual dental outreaches in Ibadan, the Taiwo Afolabi U-17 Cup which supports young football talent in South-West Nigeria, and the Taiwo Afolabi Annual Maritime Conference aimed at educating and empowering students in the maritime industry.
Reacting to the award, Olumuyiwa Akande, Group Head of Corporate Communications at SIFAX, described the recognition as a reflection of the company’s values and its people-centered mission. “At SIFAX, we believe business growth must go hand-in-hand with societal progress. This award strengthens our resolve to keep making meaningful contributions that empower and uplift,” Akande stated.
