It was a special moment yesterday, 22,March ,2024, When Chief ,now Doctor Clement Chukwuemeka Iwegbuna,AkA, Omenma was conferred with Honourary Doctor of Excellence award by the Global Multiconcept Business School,in Conjunction with American Institute of Common Wealth & Africa University
Exhuding with smiles , satisfaction and air of fulfilment,in an event attended by eminent Nigerians ,and
egg heads across the globe ,Dr.Iwegbuna expressed deep satisfaction and gratitude for the recognition of his 31 years journey as a business man,all of which has culminated in his being recognised and deserving of honour by the Global Multiconcept Business School GMBS.

In an interview with Premium News Daily ( PND), shortly after his conferrment with  the Honourary Doctor of Excellence award,Dr Iwegbuna said,” It is a thing of Joy to be so recognised and honoured today, mostly at this time when the younger generation does not believe in hard work.So those of us who have passed through thick and thin to get to where are today,being honoured,is a demonstration  of one’s hard work or effort.And that implies that younger generations looking up to you will see that there is dignity in labour.For one to work hard ,for one to earn a living through a legitimate means is of great essence .So ,for me ,today’s event marks a watershed in my life, business and career.It’s really a thing of Joy.I feel greatly humbled and honoured,and to God be the glory “.

Asked how he would use his new found status to further the cause of humanity viz-a- viv his business and career,Dr Iwegbuna noted that to whom much is given , much is expected.

” So, we are just starting,and this is another door that has opened to us to explore,not only for ourselves,but for the larger society.This award will galvanize us to do more for the society, particularly in the things we know how to do best.We will strive to bring positive change to our environment and our country” .he assured.

He lamented the moral decadence that is prevalent with the youths of today,noting that the situation has so degenerated that it will require great effort to change the narrative.

” If you look at our society today,there is so much moral decadence particularly amongst the youths.Infact there is a lot of work to do.And that is one of the things this new status has conferred on us to be a moral game changer.And by the grace of God,we are to do our best to better the lot of humanity,as much as God permits”Dr.Iwegbuna said.

On his advise to the up coming ones , particularly those who might aspire to be like him,Dr Iwegbuna advised the youths to shun evil or get rich quick syndrome, stressing that ,Hard work honesty ,and patience have their reward, adding that ,” slow and steady wins the race”.

Earlier in his opening remarks President/ Director General of GMBS,Dr Albert Ndeze,  noted that the award ,” Is a professional recognition that provides an independent quality assurance reference for highly qualified professionals from all fields, accomplished and successful business people and for those who strive for personal excellence, and who become a motivating example in the society and their communities and professional spectrum”

He noted that criteria for selecting awardees are based on nominations.He said the ward  aims to recognize those individuals in various fields of endeavour who have contributed immensely to the growth of their communities and who  have greatly impact lives.
