MWUN BOT Chairman Extends Eid-El-Fitr Greetings To Muslims Worldwide

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees and outgoing President-General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his message, Prince Adeyanju urged Muslims to celebrate the Sallah with love, charity, and forgiveness, transcending religious divides. He emphasized the importance of tolerance and unity, calling on all faithful to emulate the exemplary deeds of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), who embodied goodness and stood as a beacon of Islam.
As the Deputy President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Vice President Global of the International Transport Workers Federation (ITF), Adeyanju commended the resilience of Muslims in upholding the principles of Islam, particularly in fostering peace within the nation. He expressed optimism that sustained peace and tolerance would create a harmonious society where everyone could thrive.
A devoted Muslim himself, Comrade Adeyanju conveyed his warmest greetings to Muslims worldwide, expressing gratitude and goodwill on this joyous occasion.
