Few days away to the Maiden Edition of the Students Entrepreneurial Development Seminar (SED) ,maritime stakeholders, captains of industry and other port users ,have all indicated great interest to be part of the big event..
The Management of Certified Institute of Shipping Nigeria (CISN), Institute of Management and Transport Technology (IMTT), Nagaff Academy and other reputable organisations have all indicated interest to partner with the News Emperor Magazine in the forthcoming seminar.
The seminar aims at bringing the academia, maritime stakeholders and other dignitaries within the maritime industry to brainstorm on the way forward for the younger generations.
The youths are expected to tap into the numerous opportunities and potentials inherent in the much talked about Marine and Blue Economy sector of the country.
The event which comes up on June 27th, 2024 at the RockView Hotels Apapa GRA, Lagos is expected to be a rallying point between the academia and the maritime experts.
The seminar will serve as an avenue for investors, entrepreneurs, business men and women to meet and brainstorm on the gains of the Marine and Blue Economy.
Also, the management of WideScope International Logistics has indicated interest to partner with the News Emperor Magazine in its maiden edition of SEDS, 2024.
According to the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Wide Scope,Dr Segun Musa their foundation has similar plan to train the youths in the maritime industry.
Dr Segun Musa, an accomplished freight forwarder and s versatile transport guru said, “My management will give the News Emperor Magazine full support to ensure the success of the seminar. I also promised to sponsor over 100 students to participate in the forthcoming seminar, he assured.
Meanwhile ,the rector of CISN, Mr Ifeanyi Phillip Okwashi who spoke to the convener of the seminar Pastor Ambose Obioma Okehi said his institution is ever ready and very willing to participate in the forthcoming seminar.
The rector said, “We are ready. We have discussed it and will participate fully to ensure its success” he said.
The Founder of NAGAFF, Dr Boniface Aniebonam directed Pastor Ambose to liaise with the registrar of NAGAFF Academy, Francis Omotosho and that he is ready to give every support towards the success of the seminar
