Customs Gets New Management Team,As Tinubu Promotes Six Senior Officers

The Nigeria Customs Service NCS Management Team has been given a boost following the promotion of some senior officers of the Service.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a statement approved the appointment of Deputy Comptroller Generals and Assistant Comptroller Generals respectively.
Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Custom , Abdullahi Maiwada in a statement on Friday, 28 July 2023, stated that the Comptroller General of Customs
Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, while congratulating the newly appointed officers,enjoined them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation.
The newly promoted officers are DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu, ACG K Olumoh,ACG AB Mohammed and ACG A Alajogun.
According to the statement, no positions have been assigned to the newly promoted officers of the service.
