CIMIC ANNUAL CONVENTION 2024: PASTOR UJU OGOLOGONDU CHARGES WOMEN TO BE FAITHFUL AND PEACEFUL IN MARRIAGE

Last Sunday,0ctober 27 ,2024,would remain indelible in the memory of worshippers at Christ In Me International Church,aka Arena of Passion and Kindness,located at Obadore,in Alimosho Local Government,Lagos,for It was a day they held their annual Women CONVENTION ,in a grand style.

What made the day to stand out was not the massive decorations of the church,nor the beautiful apparels adorned by the women and huge turn out of members and guests,it was the powerful ,undiluted word of God that proceeded from the mouth of Pastor Uju Ogologondu Obadigbo, fondly called “Mega Classic Mama”,wife of the General Overseer of the Church, Prophet Micheal Ogologondu Obadigbo ( Provo),as he he is called by his members, owing to his accurate prophecies.

Delivering a sermon she titled ,” You Must Listen To Hegai” which was in line with the theme of the convention, ” Mother In Israel,Pastor Uju admonished the women to be faithful and maintain peace in their marriage in order to have a good and peaceful home.

Drawing her message from the Book of Esther Chapter( 1:1-22,and 2Kings4; 1-3), she said,” As a mother ,as a father,you must listen to Hegai,if you miss Hegai’s advice,you have missed everything.As a mother in Israel,you must listen to Hegai.
” Who is Hegai?, Hegai is the Holy spirit that directs and guides women.Hegai represents the Holy Spirit.Esther triumphed through the guidance and instructions of Hegai.The women that excel are those ones that listen to the instructions and advice of Hegai”
She added,” Some of you here have refused the command of God and the command of your husband.And when ever you reject the command of God, sickness,death and poverty are inevitable”.

Pastor Uju noted that Queen Vashti’s refusal to obey instruction,caused her to lose her place as queen in the kingdom.
” If you cannot fulfil the purpose of God ,you have failed God.Women are created for men.Therefore disobedience to your husband,is disobedience to God” she asserted.
Going further,she said,” Many women have killed their husband as a result of their actions and excessive demands. If you fail to keep the head which is your husband,you will account for his death”
She said the instructions of Hegai ,who represents the Holy spirit, and the tutelage and upbringing of Esther by her uncle Mordecai ,all combined to make Esther stand out amongst other virgins,and which resulted in her finding favour before King Ahasuerus.
She said ,”For you to succeed in life and make impact ,you must listen to Hegai,abnitio,the Holy spirit.”

Speaking to Premium News Daily,in an interview,Pastor Uju expressed happiness for the success of the women convention.
” I feel very happy.God is really faithful.This is the 9th convention of this church,and God has been faithful “Pastor UJu said.
Asked what informed the theme of the convention,which is “Mother in Israel”, Pastor Uju said,”Mother in Israel is a woman of wisdom.A wise woman.According to the book of second Samuel 20:19, a mother in Israel is a faithful woman and a peace maker.So Mother in Israel are women who are peaceful and are peace makers”.
On the spiritual and symbolic meaning of Hegai,Pastor Uju drew her analogy from the book of Esther chapter 2. She said” The Bible made mention of the man called Hegai.According to the leading of the Holy spirit, I understand that Hegai symbolises the Holy spirit, because the Holy spirit is in charge of the women.He is the custodian of the women.So Hegai ,representing the Holy Spirit prepared the woman Esther,and gave her good advise which ultimately culminated into her being favoured by the King.Hegai stands as an advocate to advise the women,so that when they go to the presence of the king as in the case of Esther, they find favour. Mordecai advised Esther to listen

to the advice and instructions of Hegai,the king’s Chamberlain and wine dresser of the king.And Esther obeyed and took Mordecai’s advise,as to how she should comport herself and obey Hegai’s advise.”

According to Mega Classic Mama ,as she is fondly called by her members,the take home for the women from the convention are: ” Women should know that they are the pillars of home.Women are the peace makers,so if there are issues at their homes,they should know how to ensure that the issue is settled.If they are in the spirit,they will know how to handle their homes.

” So the take home for the women is that all women should be peace makers .All women should be faithful. If women can be peace makers and faithful, I believe our homes will be good ,and our husbands will have peace and there will not be problems in our homes”.
Woman leader of the Church ,Mrs Patricia Akabuike,who recently took over from the former woman leader ,Mrs Caroline Odinukaeze,stated in an interview how excited and happy she feels for the success of the 9th women convention.She said ,” I am extremely happy for today’s programme.I thank our mother in the lord,our mega classic Mama,for the wonderful message she delivered today.Today we learnt a lot.As a mother we should be peaceful and be obedient to our husband.”
She thanked the General Overseer,Prophet Micheal Ogologondu,for his support and spiritual guidance,and all the women and members for their support,even as she looks forward to next years convention ,which according to here would be equally great.
