The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has congratulated Mr. Olalekan BADMUS and Ms. Vivian Edet, both whom were recently appointed as Executive Director ( Marine & Operations) and Executive Director ( Finance & Admin), respectively,by the Nigerian Ports Authority,on the directive of the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR , Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

According to a statement issued on Monday,5 February,2024,by Media Head of the foremost Union,Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, President General of the Union Dr.(Prince) Adewale Adeyanju fnli,remarked,”Your promotions did not just come on a platter of gold but as a testament of your uncompromising tenacity to hardwork, wealth of experience and unblemished track record of service delivery.

“The Union is highly delighted at your appointments especially at this critical time of our nation when inventive approach is needed to make the country’s seaports the hub of port users in the West African sub-region”.
